I work with product teams in the DACH region: on direction, on how they work together and on using AI sensibly.
I'm Roman Krol. In enterprise software I've owned products from vision to release: backlog, prioritisation and acceptance of what gets built.
I started as a developer and later worked as a software architect, so I speak the language of engineering teams and know what "done" really looks like.
More recently I have applied AI tools (Claude, Atlassian Intelligence) systematically to requirements work. The results were clear enough that I built two products of my own with Claude Code: OptiSolar and Ops Control Center.
I bring two things: products I have owned from idea to release, and hands-on practice in using AI where it really improves a Product Owner's work.
Owned vision, roadmap and delivery of an enterprise platform. Time-to-market −50%, with clear acceptance criteria and a Definition of Done.
Owned two products from concept to launch: 50+ enterprise clients, 100,000+ end users.
Scalable architectures with .NET, C#, SQL, Angular and AWS.
Full-stack web development. This is where I learned how software really gets built.
I start by understanding the problem: talking to users, customers and stakeholders before I propose anything.
Everyone involved can say what is being built and when the work counts as finished. Acceptance criteria and a Definition of Done make that checkable.
We agree on a few simple measures at the start and check them again later. If the numbers do not move, the work did not work.
AI accelerates, humans decide. I work so that your team stays in control of every critical result.
A short message is enough, in German or English.
